Idiot Proof Diet

The Idiot Proof Diet is a diet available for purchase online on a site called FatLoss4Idiots. The weight loss program claims to be dramatically different from low-fat as well as low-carb diets due to a unique approach they call “calorie rotation.” The website claims that neither low-fat nor low-carb diets work over the long term. The diet’s creator (who is a mystery) says that by changing the amount and the types of food one eats every day, one can “trick the metabolism” into burning more calories and fat. The “idiot-proof” claim comes from the idea that people using this diet to lose weight don’t have to read labels, count calories, or devise their own meal plans.

Once you’ve subscribed to the diet, you choose food you like from a list of over 45 choices. Then, the site’s “diet generator” comes up with an eating plan which you are supposed to follow to the letter for the next eleven days. The eleven-day plan can be resumed again after taking two or three days off. There is no portion control required, just a list of foods to be eaten at each meal. There is an alternate plan based on the same principles contained in the plan’s ebook. Interestingly, it does not recommend exercising strenuously. The diet’s creator claims you will lose weight (especially fat) better just by taking an hour-long light walk each day.
