Hilton Head Diet

The Hilton Head Diet is a weight loss book written by Dr. Peter Miller, a physician affiliated with the Hilton Head Health Institute. The Institute is a spa where guests can enjoy satisfying low-fat, high-fiber meals, exercise and lifestyle classes, and relaxation while losing 7 to 14 pounds within two weeks. Based on the spa’s principles of metabolism-boosting activities and menus, Dr. Miller’s book claims to help you permanently and safely boost your metabolism and help you lose weight for good.

There is one website that attributes the “Metabolism Diet,” an extreme low-calorie seven-day plan to Hilton Head, but that appears to be false. Instead, the Hilton Head plan appears to be satisfying and full of the nutrients that dieters need to maintain energy throughout the day. Also, Dr. Miller recommends that dieters exercise multiple times during the day in order to maximize fat-burning processes. Another Hilton Head physician suggests making it a habit to walk for 20 minutes after each meal.
