Chicken Soup Diet

The Chicken Soup Diet is a very simple diet, based on weight loss through calorie reduction. Dieters are allowed to eat a simple, healthy breakfast, followed by as much chicken soup as you wish for the rest of the day. There are five available breakfast combinations from which to choose.

The chicken soup you eat is homemade, following a specific recipe. It includes vegetables such as broccoli and carrots. One batch of the soup makes over 25 servings, so you aren’t stuck in the kitchen making new soup all the time. In addition, the chicken soup will be a much lower-calorie meal than you are used to eating. This diet is only recommended for one week, because it is a highly restricted-calorie diet. Therefore, people will often lose weight quickly on this diet. You get to eat as much chicken soup as you want, but as chicken soup is a balanced meal, it is not likely to trigger other cravings during the day.
