Catabolic Diet

The Catabolic Diet is a diet that, the creators claim, “works three times faster than starvation.” It was created by an anonymous doctor who apparently has discovered foods that take more calories to digest than they contain, resulting in weight loss. For example, if you ate a piece of pizza that contained 200 calories and your body only required 50 calories to digest it, then you would gain 150 calories. However, if you ate some carrots that only had 35 calories in a serving, your body might need 75 calories to process them. That’s 40 calories you’ve burned! The diet’s creator says it “burns fat just like magic!”

The Catabolic Diet’s list of foods includes mainly fruits and vegetables, and a select few meats and fish types. However, it appears that the Catabolic Diet ends up restricting your calories a great deal each day. This would definitely cause people to lose weight.
